The Jewish Women’s breast cancer network held a Pink Sunday in the Sydney suburb of Woollahra to raise awareness of and funds for breast cancer.

Pink Sunday WAS organised by the National Council of Jewish Women of Australia’s NSW Division where young and all enjoyed the celebration of life to raise awareness and funds for Breast Cancer Network Australia to support women and families touched by breast cancer.

In addition to the excellent speeches which I have attached, Elvis Tribute artist Jacqueline Feilich with a most appropriate and entertaining Pink performance had the crowd moving to the tune of her unique Elvis performance fitting for the ‘king’. The winner of the best Pink Shop Display was Nickolas Properties for the most creative real estate pink window display. This  was then follwoed by the Pink Pooch Competition and the Foam Party. This was the first time that Queen Street shoppers had such a bubbly experience for the entire family.

” It is certainly the most enjoyable  fundraising experience I have had” said Marita O’Keefe, Community Events Coordinator, Breast Cancer Network Australia, who arrived from Melbourne to participate in Pink Sunday event.

Those who wanted to have a quiet Pink time could escape to the Pink Succah and enjoy their Pink Lunch.

The winner of the Kids and Teens Creative Art Exhibition titled “Mum and I” is Zoe Tye from The Art School Studio.
