Pesach prices plummet!
Melbourne’s Costco store will sell Kosher LePesach merchandise for rock-bottom prices. The international discounter’s Docklands store will see its Kosher LePesach section opened by Israel’s Ambassador to Australia Yuval Rotem and Costco’s Australian Managing Director Patrick Noone on Tuesday.
A spokesman for the company supplying Costco told J-Wire: “I was appalled when my daughters told me the price of Kosher food in Melbourne so I went about doing something about it. Costco will be bringing in containers full of matzo which they will sell for prices way below those currently on offer. They already sell Kosher chickens and I am aware that they can be bought retail in Sydney sourced from Costco. We are checking on reports that import bans on imported beef have been lifted. If that is the case, watch this space!.”
The department will be opened on Tuesday morning at 10 a.m.
