Rabbi Dr Ari Lobel and Associate Professor Ian Young will examine Bible Communities: The Dead Sea Scrolls and Rabbinic Judaism, looking at the ways the Hebrew Bible was read in Antiquity by different groups, and how these various readings of the Bible helped shape Jewish communities in the Greek and Roman eras and beyond.
