In Israel, it’s called Chok Murphy.

Elsewhere, it’s called Murphy’s Law.

The possibility for something to go wrong at the worst possible time is a universally recognized phenomenon. As fruit trees in Israel are blossoming and buds are appearing signifying renewed growth, the weather forecasters are predicting a snow storm in the Judean hills.

Jerusalem and surrounding towns are bracing for road closures and disruptions. School pupils are praying for a few days of snow holidays. Hopefully this will be the last blast of an otherwise mild winter.

HISTORY AT THE AIRPORT

 A unique exhibition has been opened at Ben Gurion airport showcasing thousands of years of Jewish history in the Promised Land.

Departing and arriving travelers can view this display at the main terminal.
