Jerusalem is growing in leaps and bounds.

Construction cranes can be seen on almost every corner as new skyscrapers are being built. Older structures are being demolished or refurbished and the sound of bulldozers and jack hammers contribute to a continuous cacophony of noise.

New lines for the light rail are being constructed. Some streets are now impassable while others have become one way or dead ends.

While many old timers bemoan the dramatic changes in what was once a sleepy backwater most citizens realize that the end result will be a modern metropolis serviced by a network of fast and frequent commuter transport options.
