On the other hand
What time did you finish?
This is the question Israelis ask when they meet the day after having celebrated the Seder. Having started late because summer daylight time has commenced a post-midnight conclusion is the rule rather than the exception.
Now that we are enjoying the intermediate days of the week-long Festival, the nature reserves, parks
and beaches are full to capacity with families enjoying time together.
It is hard to imagine that not far away our soldiers and airmen are battling the forces of evil and ensuring our safety and security.
INSPIRATIONAL
The world-renowned Israel Philharmonic Orchestra combined with the IDF Orchestra in an inspiring and most moving rendition of a famous Israeli song
for peace and salvation.
REMEMBERING
Their teacher and two daughters were murdered by an Islamic terrorist at this time a year ago.
Lucy Dee’s pupils gathered together to sing in her memory and voice their faith and belief for better times. Joining the musical tribute was her husband, Rabbi Leo Dee.
LET MY PEOPLE GO
The rest of the world may prefer to forget but we do not, especially at this time.
IN EVERY GENERATION
Never timelier than at present this song from the Seder service reminds us that history keeps repeating itself.
