On the other hand
Faced with modern-day barbarians at Israel’s borders, one would think that most would stand in solidarity with those massacred and kidnapped.
While many indeed do stand with us, it is undeniable that an increasing number prefer to blame the victims, look the other way by abstaining at the UN or feel emboldened to finally flaunt their hitherto suppressed prejudices.
Either way, the tsunami of Jew hate threatens to engulf many Jewish communities.
There can be no “other hand” when it comes to a choice between pure evil and the hard task of destroying this hellish manifestation.
Most level-headed Israelis have no intention of once again being the sacrificial lambs of the world’s indifference and double standards.
The least we can expect is for Jews everywhere to “stand with us.”
