Apart from ardent royalists among UK expatriates living in Israel I doubt that this will cause any heartache as the whole ceremony will no doubt be replayed endlessly for the next few days.
Interestingly, the oil used to anoint King Charles has come from Har Hazeitim (the Mount of Olives) which according to the British Foreign Office is in “occupied Palestinian territory.”
What an irony that this oil sourced from the same land that produced oil for the anointing of Judea’s Monarchs is now used to crown a British King.

His historic speech to the Knesset was refreshingly candid and supportive especially at a time when the current Administration is woefully tepid.
It is comforting to know that Israel still has genuine friends in Washington who are prepared to speak the truth and stand with the Jewish State.
