It is normally almost impossible to have a sensible argument with them because in mob situations at universities and demonstrations, any sort of intelligent discourse is drowned out by the fanatic chanting of the ignorant.
Very occasionally, however, it is possible to actually tackle one of these mindless chanters on their own, and then their full ignorance of the subject is on display.
