Forget the political shenanigans currently enveloping those politicians still trying to cobble together an Israeli governing coalition.

The best news of the week is the impending decision to open Israel’s borders to vaccinated tourists from fourteen countries including Australia and New Zealand. Hopefully this will give a much needed boost to a decimated tourist industry. The numbers involved will depend on the speed of vaccination programmes in the designated countries so if you are eager to visit make sure to receive the shots as soon as possible.

BELATED CELEBRATIONS

 

Dr. Mike Evans, the founder of the Friends of Zion Museum, has opened a $3 million guesthouse in Jerusalem. It is intended for survivors of the Shoah to stay at, free of charge, when celebrating their long-overdue Bar/Bat Mitzvah in Jerusalem.
