Maccabi NSW has joined Sydney’s Moriah College’s initiative of sending unwanted clothing to Africa.

africaOld and obsolete uniforms were selected from stock held at Maccabi’s White City’s offices.

Most of the gear donated is brand new but from seasons past.  Mick Vasin who helped co-ordinate the selection with Moriah’s Jo Bloch said: “We hope this will happen every year as it is nice to be able to help Moriah with this project.  Maccabi Clubs often have unused strips that can be donated annually. I congratulate Moriah and Jo on driving this and if any clubs have some obsolete gear they wish to donate just contact me and we will organise it for the next time we do this”

Vasin thanked Always Moving for organising the transport.
