Randwick Greens councillor Rafaela Pandolfini attended the council’s dawn service on ANZAC Day wearing a keffiyeh.

Liberal Councillor Daniel Rosenfeld told J-Wire:“ I am deeply offended that a fellow councillor would wear a Keffiyeh to a council dawn service event. Even worse this councillor laid a wreath while wearing it. This is a special day for all Australians and should not be hijacked by elected representatives while they are partaking in the sombre event. Our Local Government Authority has a large Jewish community and wearing of a Keffiyeh is deeply offensive to them. It has also offended many non-Jewish people both in and outside the LGA.”

Rafaela Pandolfini told news.com.au that she wears a keffiyeh every day.

Seen plenty of pictures of her not wearing it. Every day my foot. She is spitting in the face of our Jewish communities and our war hero’s and is shameless in doing so. The picture of her standing there is sickening.
We are seeing the muslimification of Australia like is happening in Europe and the USA.

She wears a keffiyeh every day! Well, then she should not have attended the Anzac ceremony, during which it was not appropriate. Ignoramus.
