Vic Alhadeff, CEO of The New South Wales Jewish Board of Deputies, has emailed deputies and staff advising the cancellation of this month’s plenum.

He wrote: “The escalating health risk associated with Covid-19 (Coronavirus) has compelled us to re-evaluate all our forthcoming public events in the interests of the health and well-being of community members and organisations.

We look forward to rescheduling the panel discussion which was planned for the plenum on “The LGBTQ+ experience in the Jewish community” at the first available opportunity.”
