David Smorgon, President of the Western Bulldogs AFL side, played host to the club’s number one supporter…Prime Minister Julia Gillard.

The occasion was the club’s family day. The Prime Minister left the ground with a new possession to treasure…her own club jersey with her name emblazoned on the back as the No 1 Female member of the side.

Smorgon told J-Wire: “In spite of overcast and drizzling conditions, more than 3000 fans turned up to enjoy the day.

Others to get the coveted Bulldogs shirts were past President Peter Gordon and Juan Gonzales  representing major partner member Mission Foods.
