NIFau invites you to talk with Avrum Burg

The New Israel Fund Australia will host a live forum on the internet this evening with former Knesset Speaker and chairman of the Jewish Agency and World Zionist Organisation Avrum Burg in the wake of the Israeli election.

After yesterday’s surprising election results, it’s time to reflect on which parties will form the next government, and perhaps more importantly, what impact it will have on NIF’s grantees and issue areas, including social justice, human rights, the inclusion of minorities, and the peace process.

Their website will feature the forum at 8pm (Sydney/Melbourne time) and will feature Burg’s insights, gleaned from 25 years experience in politics and Israel-Diaspora relations.
