Diaspora Jews have learnt nothing from our past .
at least Israelies are tough and won’t be pushed around or deny reality .

  2. Michael says:

Shirlee the fact that PM of NZ is halachically Jewish make it a bigger problem for Israel as you are aware the biggest anti _ Zionists and anti _Israel activists are Jews in the diaspora are living in America, UK, STh Africa and Australia.

    • Shirlee. says:

Yes Michael, as per our conversations, I know that well.

I don’t want to upset our Kiwi brothers, but unfortunately a great deal of antisemitism, which I have tabled, occurs in NZ

I contactd the Community about a huge problem with a Journalist and was told “Shtum, zug nisht” -“Quiet – don’t say anything”

They have what is commonly know as “Anglo-Jewish disease”

  3. Paul says:

    You are right Michael.

Specifically, Africa Israel is an investment firm dealing with real estate while Shikun & Binui is a construction company. Elbit is involved in electronics, much of it concerned with defense technologies.

Since divestment was from all three, the concern was not anti-war, but anti-Israel (read anti-Jewish). Perhaps a quiet word in the ear of the NZ PM, whose father was Jewish, might steer those PC desk jockeys investors who identify with the third world away from the NZ sheep herds which outnumber their people 9 to 1.

    • Shirlee. says:

The PM of NZ is halachically Jewish. His mother is a Holocaust survivor. His father wasn’t Jewish.
He has given his allegiance elsewhere.

  4. MIchael says:

Sick and tired of this puny little nothing country that its main claim to fame is their export of their own kind to Bondi.
Out of all the conflicts around the globe I will bet this Arabist , nebish little countries government has never singled out another country for special treatment or taken sides in any other conflict like New Zealanders have with Israel, clones of Norway.
For Instance with all the human rights abuses going on in China Ill bet they would never have the guts to pick on the Chinese or the Arabs for that matter.
Israel is half the size of this backward little cluster of Islands and the Value of its companies listed on the NASDAQ would be valued more than the whole NZ economy.

    Burdy.
