New trial date set for Malka Leifer

A new trial date has been set for former Jewish school principal Malka Leifer.

Leifer is now due to face court for a trial starting on February 7, 2023.

She’s facing 70 charges for sexual offending alleged to have occurred during her time as principal of the Adass Israel School in Melbourne.

The trial will be heard in the Victorian County Court before Judge Mark Gamble.
