New Role for Former Judge

Former Supreme Court judge David Levine has been appointed inspector of the New South Wales Police Integrity Commission.

Justice David Levine

David Levine served 13 years as a Supreme Court judge and since 2006 he has chaired the Serious Offenders Review Council.

He presided over the Australian Defence Force Enquiry into the crash of a Black Hawk helicopter on board HMAS Kanimbla in 2006 off Fiji.

The helicopter was carrying ten including crew. Two died.
