Mr Levine is currently the Inspector of the Police Integrity Commission and it makes sense for him to have oversight of the ICAC as well.

Mr Levine has previously served as a judge on the Supreme Court of NSW for 13 years during his 20 year tenure on the bench, as well as President of a Defence Force Board of Inquiry and Chair of the Serious Offenders Review Council.

The NSW Government thanks the outgoing ICAC Inspector The Hon Harvey Cooper AM for his service.

Mr Levine’s appointment expires on 31 January 2017.
