The Sydney Jewish Museum has named Professor Gus Lehrer as its new president.

The organisation is yet to name his vice-president but has confirmed that Alex Linden will continue in the Treasurer’s position.
At a function recently, Professor Lehrer launched “The Holocaust: The Nazi Genocide Against The Jewish People – a booklet on the Holocaust” written by the Board of Deputies. Professor Lehrer’s family sponsored its publication in the name of his late father, Leon Lehrer, a Holocaust survivor.
