New head for the Rabbinical Council of Victoria

Rabbi Philip Heilbrunn is the new president of the Rabbinical Council of Victoria and heads a new executive for 2018.

The RCV spokesperson said: “Rabbi Heilbrunn is an experienced member of the Rabbinate who has served our community with distinction for many years. We look forward to his leadership and wish him much hatzlacha.

“I deem it a great privilege once again to serve in a position of Rabbinic leadership in our community.  Baruch Hashem I have a very dynamic, skilled and supportive Executive and I am sure that together we will be able to do much for the benefit of the rabbis in supporting their service the community.“ Rabbi Heilbrunn

The RCV also welcomes Rabbi Nerenberg as an executive committee member. Rabbi Nerenberg serves at Jewish Care, providing pastoral and Rabbinic guidance for the elders of our community.
