The president of Queensland’s Jewish community is outraged over a Nazi-themed striptease being performed in Brisbane.

Jason Steinberg

Jason Steinberg said a controversial show featuring a barely-clothed Nazi doctor adorned with a swastika armband was “repulsive”.

The show is the brainchild of artist and model Ali Darling, 24, who hs been running it for several months and has plans to expand it into a stage production, according to a report in News Ltd newspapers.

Queensland Jewish Board of Deputies president Jason Steinberg said: “It is offensive to the Jewish community – also it would be offensive to the majority of Queenslanders.

“It shouldn’t be acceptable in this day and age for someone to use Nazi symbols in a way that glorifies that era.”

Melbourne’s Herald Sun features an image of Darling in the offending costume. See it here.
