Mount Sinai College hosted a spectacular Art show last Sunday for parents, family and the community at large.

Enjoying the exhibition

Guests were wined and dined as they admired a showcase of sculptures, paintings, photography, mosaics and collaborative pieces developed by students throughout the year. A very unique angle taken by this Apple Distinguished School was the way technology was used to enhance many of the pieces, for example, augmented reality artworks, animated mosaics and pop-up videos of children explaining their creative process.

It was also an opportunity for Mount Sinai to give an update on their stage one building renovations, with guests receiving personalised tours of the building, future classrooms, collaborative spaces and state-of-the-art facilities soon to become a reality for the Mount Sinai College students, and community. Principal Phil Roberts says “We certainly put the ‘A’ in STEAM on this day. We look forward to hosting many more events at our new campus in 2019”.
