Sydney’s Moriah College has achieved ninth spot in the Higher School Certificate…and all Sydney Jewish day schools have elevated their rankings over last year’s results.

Moriah advanced from 16th spot to 9th, Masada College from 25th to 17th, Emanuel School from 101st last year to 42nd and Kesser Torah from 82nd to 43rd.

President of the New South Wales Jewish Board of Deputies Yair Miller told J-Wire: “Our Jewish Day schools can be justifiably proud of their HCS results this year. It is always reassuring to know that our schools continue to produce well rounded young Jewish men and women with excellent Jewish and academic foundations. The unique environment of our Jewish Day Schools, coupled with excellent academic results, is not something that develops without a supreme effort from all involved. I wish a hearty Mazaltov and Kol Hakavod to the Teachers, Board Members and of course, the pupils, of each school.”
