Sydney’s Jewish House and MyBond have joined forces to address homelessness and assist survivors of domestic violence.

Together they will provide relief using their unique rental bond product, “Jewish House MyBond Support”.

This product will enable eligible individuals to access financing for a four-week rental bond, requiring an upfront fee of only one week’s rent.

At present, people are staying in their cars longer, living in domestic violence situations longer, and sleeping in crisis beds longer.

Jewish House and MyBond believe that by providing the “Jewish House MyBond Support” product, they will reduce homelessness and create safety and stability for survivors of domestic violence. This is the first product of its kind on a worldwide scale, with Jewish House and MyBond committed to empowering people in need.

The official launch date for Jewish House MyBond Support is the 14th of September, 2023, with a VIP launch event hosted by Marjorie O’Neill MP in the Jubilee Room at Parliament House on the 14th of September, 2023.

Rachael Natoli, CEO/Founder of Lokahi Foundation, said:  “Being able to access bond finance like this will assist so many victim-survivors to escape the abuse, and live independently in safety.”
