The Monte Fete
More than 1500 community members visited the Montefiore’s 91st Annual Fete held at the Hunters Hill campus.
The fete was a resounding success with new and different foods on offer, lots of children’s activities such as pony rides, an animal farm, jumping castle, face painting, a large number of stalls selling a variety of clothing, handbags, cosmetics and jewellery, not to mention an old time favourite, the tombola and more.
The target was to raise funds to purchase a new state-of-the-art food delivery system that will ensure residents get food at the correct temperature. The funds will also ensure that all residents across the group will have the same access to this technology.
Fete Convenor, Alma Goldman, said, “the fete is an important tradition to Montefiore and we are grateful to the community to support us once again. It was a great day of entertainment for the whole family with tasty food to eat.”
