Minister delayed and forum cancelled

Due to industrial action by pilots in Israel, Israeli Minister Tzachi Hanegbi’s visit to Melbourne has been delayed and his public function in Melbourne has cancelled.

The forum was due to be held in tomorrow in Melbourne.

A spokesman for AIJAC which is co-hosting the forums with Zionism Victoria has told J-Wire that the event scheduled in Sydney involving Hanegbi is still going ahead

Zionism Victoria has apologised for the Melbourne cancellation.

The Sydney talk, which is being held by AIJAC in conjunction with Australian Friends of Likud, the Zionist Council of NSW and UIA, is on Thursday, December 1 at Central Synagogue at 7:30pm.

    Doesn’t the Government of Israel have an air force VIP fleet for international visits by ministers like the RAAF does for our PM etc?
