600 applicants from 29 countries sought one of the coveted 120  places at the ROI Young Innovators Conference in Israel. Michael Misrachi from Sydney was a successful applicant.

Michael MisrahiFounded in Jerusalem in the summer of 2006, ROI is a global community of outstandingly creative individuals who have a personal vision about how to make the Jewish world a better place. Built around intensive networking and skill-building activities in Jerusalem and the Diaspora that are continued online, ROI enhances its members’ ability to re-create community in their own image. ROI embraces the diversity and dynamism of Jewish life, with a youthful energy that represents its best hope for the future.

Sydney-based Misrachi is currently Program Director for the Australian encounters@shalom web sites. Ex-Masada College, he has been involved with Hineni as a Madrich. He worked in human resource management before deciding to focus his career on the Jewish community. His vision is to make adult Jewish learning accessible, exciting and relevant. He aim is reach a seam of thinking Jewish adults whose Jewish learning is more sophisticated than their childhood Jewish education.
