The B’nai B’rith Anti-Defamation Commission and B’nai B’rith Australia-NZ have extended their deepest condolences and sympathies to the families and friends of the 29 Australians killed on flight MH17.

B'naiB'rithADC Chairman Dr Dvir Abramovich and Morris Tobias, President of BBANZ, issued the following statement:

“This is a sad and dark day for all Australians. We extend our profound condolences, as well as thoughts and prayers, to the anguished families who lost loved ones and who will be forever scarred by this loss. The ADC and BBANZ are utterly appalled and heartbroken by this odious and barbaric crime and support the call for a comprehensive investigation that will lead to the arrest and prosecution, to the full extent of the law, of those who planned and perpetrated this horrific attack. At this time of collective grief and mourning, as we stand together as a nation, we hope for the day when our world is a safer and more peaceful place”
