The first Community Kashrut (CK) supervised meat restaurant in Sydney has opened for business.

Laffa Bar opened in Hall Street, Bondi on the site most recently occupied by Glicks.
A well-established and popular Melbourne kosher eatery, Laffa Bar’s foray into Sydney was met with great excitement and enthusiasm by local kosher consumers and others, with a booming attendance on their first night and favourable reports from customers.
“We  are delighted to welcome Laffa Bar to Sydney,” said CK Chairman David Sandler. “Ruby and his team have built an exceptional business in Melbourne and it is testimony to the maturity of the local kosher eating community ithat experienced operators such as Laffa Bar are choosing to expand their offering into the Sydney market.
CK is committed to working together with the community to provide for its kosher needs.   We are very pleased to have been able to provide a vehicle for this offering in Sydney,” he said.
