Nellie Castan has brought new works for a week’s show in Sydney.

Nellie Castan

Nellie Castan Gallery has been established for 10 years in Melbourne as a prominent contemporary art space for emerging and mid-career artists. The gallery is exhibiting at The Depot Gallery (2 Danks Street Waterloo) from Tuesday 23 – Sunday 28 March 2010. This is the first group exhibition of Melbourne-based Nellie Castan Gallery artists in Sydney, all of which do not have commercial representation in Sydney. There will be a variety of media present (painting, photography and sculpture) and a number of themes and processes explored (architectural spaces, hard-edged abstraction, domesticity, feminism, formalism and collage).
