Bariatric Surgeon Harry Frydenberg was the first Presenter on The Shtick way back in 2004. So, it seemed appropriate for Henry Greener to invite him to be his final Guest on C31, as he and his wife Dr Erica Frydenberg Zoom in from Lorne, where they have been living during the lockdown.
Henry Greener
Unless there is a last-minute Reprieve from Communications Minister Paul Fletcher MP, this will be the final episode of The Shtick on C31!!? Harry recalls how in mid-2004, he was recruited by the Executive Producer of Shalom TV Bruria Bergman to start a new Format and Name, that created The Shtick, with Co-Presenters Eva Singer and Barry Zayon, Director/Floor Manager Terry Flander and Cameraman Henry Greener. The rest is history, including his early life in Carlton where the Jewish Ghetto was vibrant and close-knit; then moving to Kew, where financial success dictated upward social mobility and modernity.
Associate Professor Dr. Erica Frydenberg Zooms in from Lorne after her husband Mr. Harry Frydenberg’s segment, where he mentions their wedding in Israel and the birth of their son Josh Frydenberg MP and daughter Dr. Lexi Frydenberg, who have both had very successful careers, perhaps due to the fact that Erica is an Educational, Clinical and Educational Psychologist, being the Author of numerous books, has conducted workshops and presented at 140 conferences, created Psych Tests, Parenting Programs, contributed to 26 chapters in books, 32 Papers in Journals, 26 Published Proceedings and made a huge contribution to the areas of Families Coping, Self-Care, Wellbeing, Coping Strategies, Resilience and Stress Relief. Being World Refugee Week, Erica Strausz was a Displaced Person from Hungary, who spent time in Paris and ended up settling in Sydney, where she met Harry at a wedding, when she was studying for a BA at the University of Sydney.
