Composer Yitzhak Yedid is an Israeli-Australian classical composer and improvising pianist, who combines Jewish and Arabic music in his unique style…he talks with Henry Greener.

Yitzhak has just been announced the winner of the Azrieli Prize for Jewish Music – Composition. He has also been recognized by winning the Israel Prime Minister’s Prize in 2007, the Landau Prize for Performing Arts in 2009 and is currently the Sidney Myer Creative Fellow at Griffiths University in Brisbane. We end the show with a video clip of the performance of “Kiddushim Ve Killulim” (Blessings and Curses), his Ariel Prize-winning composition.
