Meet Australia’s ambassador to Israel
The Melbourne community is invited to a public forum with Australia’s Ambassador to Israel Dave Sharma later this month.

Mr Sharma will speak about his impressions of Israel from his experience as Ambassador since 2013.
Before his post to Israel, Dave held numerous posts within the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. He studied at Cambridge University, Sydney Medical School and Deakin University and is the youngest person to ever be appointed an Australian Ambassador.
The event will be held on Tuesday 21 July at 8:00pm at Beth Weizmann.

It would be interesting to hear the ambassador’s opinion about the assertion that was made a while ago by the ALP’s shadow foreign minister and deputy leader, namely, that Israel is a “rogue state.”
