Crowd favourite Michael Shafar hosts an outstanding line-up of some of the most exciting Jewish comedians in Australia, featuring Ben Kochan, Robyn Reynolds (UK), Jess Fuchs, and Thalia Joan. Headlining the show is award-winning comedian Alice Fraser!
You probably recognise our brilliant headliner, Alice Fraser. A shining light in the Australian comedy scene, Alice delights international audiences with her intelligence and sharp wit. Her sold-out solo shows have been commissioned as podcasts and TV specials on Amazon Prime, NextUp and the ABC.
MC Michael Shafar is a true comedic talent. A RAW National Finalist, Michael has more than 10 million views on TikTok. He has appeared on ABC’s Comedy Bites, Triple J, and regularly writes for The Project. His darkly funny humour, drawing from his own experience with testicular cancer, has made him a hit on the festival circuit.
They have some wonderful talent in the feature acts this year. You can’t go wrong with loveable Ben Kochan, he’s a renowned joke-writer and has previously supported Tom Gleeson and Wil Anderson. Thalia Joan’s comedy is always fun and varied, having sold-out runs of her solo show at Sydney Comedy Festival. Robyn Reynolds’ relatable anecdotes have made her a favourite in the local Jewish community, and she’s just finished up a prestigious artist residency with Brand X. And, you may have seen one of Jess Fuchs’ hilarious viral TikToks or spotted her on a bus stop for M&M’s Comedy spotlight campaign.
The organisers are kvelling over this amazing line-up of funny Jews!
