Living Historians open letters from Year 10 students

Six historians presented the theme “From Shoah to Tekumah”

Jozef Vissel, a child survivor from Holland, George Sternfeld a child survivor from Poland, Joseph Weinreich a child survivor from Poland who survived in Siberia and then finally ended up in Khazakstan, Gabi Romer who managed to survive in a Raoul Wallenberg ‘safe house’ in Budapest, Zoli Romer who went through Forced Labour camps, Concentration camps and the Death March before returning to Budapest and Dennis Rudnick who served with Machal and was instrumental in helping to launch El Al.
