Penny Sharpe has addressed The NSW Jewish Board of Deputies Luncheon Club speaking on spoke about law reform and the planned federal Marriage Equality plebiscite and its repercussions. She provided an informative outline of the history of LGBTI rights in Australia and NSW, interwoven with insights from her personal and professional story.

Penny Sharpe’s guests included leaders from Sydney’s Jewish gay community and leading rights campaigners Dr Kerryn Phelps and Jackie Stricker Phelps.

    An outrageous act of verbal bullying, Mr. Roy Frerman. You have no way of knowing whether English is Eleonora Mostert’s second, third or even fourth language. Just because she adds an apostrophe and omits a preposition doesn’t give you the right to verbally abuse her and rubbish what she writes

    Mr. Michael Barnett, women were never the property of their husbands in Jewish law. A Jewish husband is to love his wife as himself and honour her more than himself.
