Maccabi tennis junior to play for Australia
NSW Maccabi tennis player Lara Kaplan will represent Australia at the under 14s Nick Bolliteri IMG Discovery International Open to be held in Bradenton, Florida at the end of the month.

A Maccabi spokesman told J-Wire: “Lara has had amazing success in recent tournaments but the invitation still came as a big surprise for her.

This international tournament sees invited tennis players aged 10 to 16 come from all over the world come to both train at the compete at Nick Bolliteri’s academy. Over 20 countries each send representatives in the under 12, 14 and 16s age group.”
Lara is coached by Piotr Haczek at the Maccabi Tennis Club and is looking forward to the trip, training hard and doing the best she can at the upcoming international event.
Lara Kaplan was also awarded last week the Maccabi Club Award for 2015 for Outstanding Junior Female athlete at a Maccabi Club.
Well done to Lara, she is an outstanding young athlete.
