The 2009 NRL season has provided numerous highlights for the Bulldogs.

At the start of the journey we developed a strategic plan to transform how the Bulldogs brand is perceived in the broader market.

We have now created a foundation that, in time, will give the Club a great chance of achieving our vision of becoming the No.1 Sports franchise in Australia.

2009 has been a career defining year across the entire business. Facts for consideration:-

  • 60% increase in membership. Almost at a total of 7000 members and looking to increase again 2010
  • 80% increase in merchandise revenue
  • 150% increase in Corporate Partnerships revenue and a new three (3) year naming rights sponsorship deal
  • No. 1 average game day attendances for any NSW Club = 21,000+ and second only behind the Broncos across the entire NRL
  • No.1 most visited website in the NRL – 70,000 unique browsers per month
  • Recognised as Camp Quality’s no.1 partner generating $1.2M in exposure, donations and Value in kind
  • A total of Player appearances = 536; totaling 1,024 hours in the community

It’s been a wonderful year for the Bulldogs and I am extremely proud of what we have achieved both on and off the field.
