Frank Lowy, the co-founder of shopping centre giant Westfield, is recovering in a Sydney hospital following surgery.

A statement issued from Lowy’s Sydney HQ states: ” Mr Frank Lowy returned to hospital at the weekend to undergo surgery for a bile duct stricture that had previously caused cholangitis.

The operation was a success and he is recovering well with a full recovery expected.”
