A Canadian reader is searching for Maxine Cohen, a Sydneysider he met in Israel in 1971.
I’ve been searching for Maxine Cohen, a friend I met in Israel in 1971. I have been down a lot of dead end searches and hoped you may be able to suggest an organization that had recorded young people going off to Israel or possibly some one that had traveled there at that time. She would be mid 60s by now and the only contact address I had for her was her father’s business – G.M. Cohen, Madgwick and Madgwick at 82 Pitt St., Sydney. I was there several years ago and security assured me that they were ancient history at that address. Any help would be greatly appreciated by this Canadian.
