The Gold Party was held this year at sponsor’s The Golden Sheaf  Soda Bar in Sydney’s Double Bay.

hag4 hag3 hag2 The bar was beautifully decorated and overflowing with candles, candies, chocolates, jam donuts and plenty of gold to really immerse guests into the Chanukah spirit. DJ Kraag teamed up with the amazing Dekdrum bongos to get the crowd moving, and with over 400 young Jewish adults attending, it created an incredible atmosphere.

The lighting of the menorah by Rabbi Mendel Kastel from J-Junction was quite a sight in the packed venue of Jewish young adults, as well as the distinguished guest Mr Avraham Duvdevani Chairperson of the WZO and his wife Dina.

The night consisted of great music, great company and ended with flare!  The evening was a huge success and a perfect way to end 2012!

We all look forward for another successful year in 2013!

The Gold Party is held jointly by Hagshama, Studio Central and J-Junction.

What a great party! What a great crowd and great entertainment line up! I was happy to fly all the way from Melbourne to play percussion for the party… far worth the flight up!! Well done to the organizers of this event and hope to do it all again soon!

    Cheers
