LFI is also pleased that Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced his intention to move Australia’s embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to West Jerusalem, following a future peace agreement.

The chairman of LFI, Yosi Tal said: “We applaud Prime Minister Scott Morrison for following through on his promise to recognise West Jerusalem as the capital of the State of Israel. This bold, courageous move shows that Australia is taking an active role in working to promote peace and stability in the region.”

These highly significant developments have come as a result of Australia’s continued strong relationship with Israel and its government. LFI is grateful to the Australian government for the ongoing nurturing of this important international partnership and looks forward to further positive developments in the future.

“We especially applaud PM Scott Morrison for his courage to stand strong against foreign nations attempts to dictate Australia’s foreign policies,” said Mr Tal.

    There is no “West Jerusalem.”
There is one city called “Jerusalem.”
To mutilate it and hand over part of it to a terrorist culture would be a crime against humanity.
