Matthew Chase, one of Kramer’s legal representatives in based in St Louis, Missouri. Kramer spent seven years in a State prison having been found guilty of similar offences and was released into U.S. Federal custody following an application from Victoria police for his extradition.

On Octorber 2, the U.S. judge sustained the motion for extradition and Kramer is now believed to be in a prison in Texas awaiting the journey back to Melbourne.

Chase told J-Wire: “He was apparently moved from Missouri to Oklahoma before being transferred to Texas. I understand that during this time he lost his tallit and tephillin but he has been supplied with others.”

J-Wire attempted to contact the representative of the Victorian Police dealing with the case but has not yet received any statement.

David Kramer holds dual U.S. and Israeli citizenship.
