Orthodox supporters of the Sydney Kings will have plenty to eat at Sunday evening’s game against Adelaide…Kosher hot dogs will be on sale for the first time.

Rabbi Mendel Kastel tests the hot dogs p: Henry Benjamin

The CEO of the Jewish House, Rabbi Mendel Kastel told J-Wire: “The Yankees do it in New York…so why not the Sydney Kings?”

The initiative is believed to be the first time Sydney’s Entertainment Centre has offered Kosher food at a basketball game.

Kastel added. “The hot dogs will sell for $4.50, the same price as non-Kosher ones and we will have plenty to drink on offer, too. Purim is coming up and we wanted a fresh angle on a sport which has a big Jewish following. There will be a mashgiach present.”

Besides being Kosher they’ll certainly taste better and be healthier than the rubbish normally sold
In NY on the streets they only sell Kosher hot dogs because nobody trusts non-kosher ones.
I reckon there would be a huge market out there at nearly every Sydney NRL match because all the muslim fans respect kosher and the ordinary public will taste the difference
