KTC BHS has again proven it is a sporting powerhouse in indoor soccer by gaining first place in the CSSA Indoor Soccer competition for 2009.by Dan Lowinger

Three great wins out of three games in the final week secured top place for KTC A and a close 4th for KTC B in this high level 10 team division. KTC can be proud of its strong sporting achievements in indoor soccer with both the GHS and BHS coming first in their respective interschool competitions.

Indoor soccer teams 001This weeks games saw KTC B defeat IGS C in secure a 4th place finish. The game showed all the skills that the team has developed over the season with great passing and clever shots on goal. KTC A won both their games against Moriah A and Moriah B. Each game included close marking and quick shifting from defence to offence as the KTC convincingly covered the court, out ran and gunned their opponents and showed why they were the favourites throughout the competition.

Star coach and KTC not-so-old-boy, Michael Meyer, member of the famous KTC undefeatable team, was typically modest in victory. I won’t say this is the greatest win of all time in any event, sporting or other, in the history of the entire world, but if its not then it is mighty close. KTC thanks Michael for his help in coaching both teams to their tremendous results, but elite athletes never rest, the students are already preparing for their title defence next year.
