Sydney’s Kesser Torah Annual Mother & Daughter Dinner was a huge success.

The function was recently held at Hakoah Club where 160 guests enjoyed a wonderful evening. The air was filled with excitement and the hall looked great as the Year 6 girls wandered around the room gazing at the centerpieces reflecting the theme of the night – FLAMES.   The Mother & Daughter Dinner 2009 held on Chai Elul and was an evening illuminated by “Flames” and young self assured Bas Mitzvah girls.  The Year 6 girls reflected on the many Torah values and halachos they are now taking on as Bas Mitzvah girls. Every girl produced portfolios, the research, content and presentation was of an outstanding quality and was displayed with pride. The girls presented their Divrei Torah and focused on an array of Tishrei themes and topics starting with the first candle lighting of the New Year which is both Shabbos and Rosh Hashanah and ending with Succos.  The girls performed their songs and dance routines and enjoyed sharing a very memorable evening with their mothers and friends. At the end of the evening each girl presented their mother with a red rose.
