AFL commentator Ken Judge has apologised on air for describing his colleague’s girth as being “bigger than Hitler’s last gas bill.”Hunt made the wisecrack described by the Executive Council of Australian Jewry president Robert Goot as being “in poor taste” during last weekend’s live call of the West Coast Eagles v Collingwood clash in Perth. Instead of the expected laugh, the comment was met with a rash of complaints to the ABC who were broadcasting the match.

This morning, Judge, a former West Coast and Hawthorn coach, apologised on air saying: “I apologise if I have offended anyone. It was not a savoury comment and it is one I am not really proud of.”
