Australia’s ambassador to Israel Dave Sharma has won the best costume in a diplomatic Purim party in Israel…appropriately dressed as a kangaroo.The party, which was also attended by journalists, was held at the home of European Union ambassador to Israel Lars Faaborg-Andersen.

Ambassador Faaborg-Andersen told media: “This is one of the Israeli holidays that I love the most. because it brings out the best in people, a smile, joy and insanity, which is a good thing from time to time.”
