JNF Victoria has shared presidency
Michael Carp will become Co-President of JNF Victoria together with Simone Szalmuk-Singer, the current Victorian President.
At a time when many communal organisations struggle to find suitable leadership candidates, JNF continues to buck that trend. “I think it says so much about our organisation and the projects we support, that we have people like Michael wanting to take on additional responsibility within JNF” said Szalmuk-Singer.
She added “Michael’s accession firmly continues JNF on the path of new generational leadership, a vision initially implemented by Sara Gold over 5 years ago”.
“I have developed a great passion for the vital work of JNF and the vulnerable communities that we support especially in the South of Israel. I am particularly proud that our donor funds are paid directly to specific projects, ensuring strong corporate governance, accountability and transparency for our donors. I’m very excited by the opportunity to continue to lead our team from strength to strength” said Michael Carp.
